My Supervision Style

I offer one-on-one clinical supervision to associate licensee, particularly working in the medical social work setting, community mental health setting, in /or considering private practice. I provide supervision that is centered to you and your learning style and your career goals. My goal is to enhance your clinical skills learned in college to confidently apply in your employment role.

My Social Work career began in 2008. In undergrad, there was a heavy influence to work for a county Department of Social Services. In graduate school, there was a lack of influence or education surrounding the various employment possibilities within the Social Work career. As a result, I ended up exploring the Social Work Career and worked or interviewed for nearly every position I came across with a “decent” salary. Throughout, my Social Work career my salary as doubled and is likely to triple. I would like to help you in your social work career by sharing some of the challenges faced throughout my own Social Work Career.

As you can see, I have gained an abundance of experience working in various positions within the Social Work Career. The ultimate goal of supervision is to enhance your clinical skills, explore and cultivate your modalities and clinical treatment style, case consultation, and confront biases.

Additionally, it is equally important to know what motivates you, explore a comfortable salary or wage, and incorporate self-care and a life balance to prevent the burnout that can result from the Social Work Career.
